CCLP Coffee

Java for justice

The Colorado Center on Law and Policy has partnered with Earth Friendly Coffee to create a custom brand called “JAVA for Justice”. Earth Friendly works with indigenous farmers who grow their coffee in volcanic soil, under the canopy of the rainforest. Their farming practices work within the rainforest’s ecosystem to preserve the Earth. Our coffee is organic and chemical-free. The indigenous farmers use mulch from the surrounding rainforest to fertilize their treasured coffee trees.

Our supplier, Earth Friend Coffee is 100 percent free trade. Every bean that is sold is fair trade. And to secure the finest beans of the farmer’s harvest, Earth Friendly pays indigenous farmers 50 percent more than the fair trade price.

So place a monthly order for your office or for your home and feel good about a coffee that is Good for the grower, good for you, good for our Earth and supports CCLP’s local mission of justice and economic security for all Coloradans!
